The Finest Automotive Soundtrack

Many car enthusiasts and regular civilians will note that a big reason for the lust towards a car is the sound it creates! Whether its the rumble of a 7.0L Push Rod V8 of the scream of a 6.5L Ferrari V12 everyone has a favored sound! Personally In my opinion and expriences the best sound is created by the smaller displacement V10's. The 5.0L and 5.2L V10's in the Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi R8's make pretty spectacular noises across a wide range of rev's on the tachometer. The 5.0L V10 in BMW's E60 M5 & E63 M6 also makes a spectacular growl VERY similar to the Gallado's seeing as how the displacements are nearly the same.

The king of all V10's though definately has to be Porsche's Carrera GT. I know, you're probably thinking "PORSCHE, V10? WHAT?!" For a short period of 2004 - 2006 Porsche crafted a beautiful supercar coined the Carrera GT. It was fitted with a 5.7L DOHC V10 that produces by far the best engine note of any car ever produced on earth. Not to mention the car looks absolutely beautiful and has removable hardtop!

The Perfect Supercharger For A Ford Modular V8

If you have a 4.6L or a 5.4L V8 in your Mustang Cobra, GT, or SVT Lightning truck, you've probably thought about supercharging your ride! As you probably know, supercharging provides a marginal increase in power output all across the rev band in almost every car! Superchargers are immune to the "lag" turbochargers suffer from as they run off the engine's accessory belt and are always on from when the cars engine starts!

Now, onto the goodies! When choosing a supercharger for a 4.6 or a 5.4 you don't have a huge array of options! There's a Vortech (Centrifugal), Whipple (Twin-Screw), Kenne Bell (Twin-Screw), and the factory supercharger!

From what I've found from dyno sheets, track times, and general expirience in the muscle car industry the Kenne Bell is by far the BEST supercharger for the price! The Kenne Bell provides exponential power increases from high to low boost outputs! Now, they are a bit pricey, but the HP and TQ increases you will experience is well worth the price!
